Synergy (B.E.6)

  In your own words... Define it Describe what is used for Describe why it used Give 2 examples of it used in film/tv Synergy is when two companies work together to create concepts that benefit the both of them . It used to help advertise both companies to help create money for the both of the companies. The purpose is also to create attention for both companies. A good example is cars because the main character has light year tires this gives the character more realism which is better for Pixar but also helps to advertise for lighyear tires and can help them sell more tires or get more of advertising. Another example is space jam because it helps because nba is heavily advertised and basket is associated with space jam so when basketball movies are brought up  people typically think of space jam and space jam is heavily advertising the nba

  In your own words, define Media Convergence Media convergence - is combing past tech and or function to a singular item to make a better piece technology. Sounds (B.e.4)

  Diegetic -the sounds  that was recorded while filming , allows audience to focus on character development. Ex: surround so that already exist in the area.   non-diegetic- sound that is added during post productions. increasing suspense. Ex: violin getting sharps to create a mysterious affect . Rocky: Diegetic & Non Diegetic sound        voiceover- dialogue that is said by a character that isn't seen or noticed.  gives insight to what is to  occur from a outer perspective on what is occurring. Ex: Non seeable character speaking about the plot     Movie Trailer Voiceover Example   =         ambient sound - background noise to help create a feel of a place or to help express where something is taking place. Camera Shots (B.E.3)

  Over the shoulder shot is a shot in which the "on-screen" actor's coverage is captured while the camera is set close behind a "off-screen" actor so that their shoulder is in the frame. An over-the-shoulder angle will also imply a link or understanding between the characters in your scenario. You can use it to orient your viewer. I took the photo in the classroom over a friends shoulder.  Pov shot is a movie perspective that depicts what a character is seeing in the first person. Typically, it is established by being placed in between a shot of a subject gazing at something and a shot of the character reacting to it. Took the picture in the  class by looking at the image. an a extreme close -up shot is a shot that puts a objected in higher focus or zoom in. Often portions of the shot is no longer in frame due to the fact that the image or subject is so zoomed in.   1. What you did to prepare for creating your first video I had to get my cat , set up some lighting and gets some cat treats. 2. What software did you use for editing. What are the limitations and benefits of the software you used. Canva, for the assignment the most we needed to do at the time was edit words that talked about what each role of the cast and what they contributed to the video. Thus at the time the software worked well. 3. What hardware (camera/phone) did you use to create your video. What are the limitations and benefits to the hardware you used. iPhone 11 back camera , the benefits would be the accessibility and the variety of the function. The negatives is the inability to understand how to use the camera because i have never used the camera seriously i lack the knowledge to uses the camera to its fullest potential. This means in my case a negative is a user flaw.

1. Input individuals in your group and what their contributions were to the project Jesus Tunon/ Justin Carreiro did the following: produce, edit, and direct. 2. Explain the storyboard/pre plan. Explain what you wrote down in the preplan and what you were planning on doing for your video. The preplan was very simple because it was just supposed to be a recording of my cat and different parts and close ups.
