Film editing Straight Cut Transition (B.E.19)

Explain, in your own words, what is a Straight Cut Transition  Is a basic transition from one clip to  another. Explain, in your own words, how and why is a straight cut transition used in editing a film? They are used with continuity editing to continue the scene seamlessly from one clip to another to create a since of cohesiveness.  Explain, in your own words, how does a Straight Cut transition compare to the Jump Cut and the Dissolve transitions? Straight is continued and has no affect. Jump has a affect and is a sudden stop from scene to scene and is to express something going forward in time. dissolves are a cut that fades from black to white or white to black into the scene.

They help to guide the audience to help convey a passage of time, character movement, pauses, storylines, and silence.

https://youtu.be/bRtwse2teww   This video will end up being the credit scene for our video which will include our names and the producers editors and the actors names etc. This is the same shot list at the moment but will be updated if we create new kinds of shots to ad to the list. The issues we encountered is in some cases our idea on how we vision parts of the video was not able to be done so we had to create changes to make sure the video flows and works but over all its enjoyable and is going well.
