Plot & Story (B.E.27)
We first came up with horror-related concepts that we could incorporate into our video before developing the storyline. We brainstormed a number of terrifying concepts before deciding which ones we could actually shoot. Eventually, we came to the conclusion that we wanted to portray a psychologically unstable vicious chimpanzee. What changed from the treatment to the actual video was that we decided to shoot the entire thing outside in the woods instead of having it take place in a lab.
In order to make the treatment more realistic, we also had to redo some sequences. For instance, we mentioned in the treatment that the chimp was cunning enough to fake the scientist's demise by putting his corpse under some lights to make it appear as though he had been crushed by it. The scientist is simply murdered by the monkey in our film, who then begins eating any insects that land on his rotting corpse. Our tale revolves around three scientists who subject a chimpanzee to research experiments and steroids injections, which causes the animal to go insane and start killing people. The movie portrays a monkey horror murder as a whole
